Cloud is the future, synonym for security and data availability. Choose your ideal cloud in time!

Cloud

Cloud technologies represent IT resources (servers, applications, databases) that you access over the Internet and use as if they were located on your device (laptop, tablet, phone), even though they are physically located in a Data Center. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Viber or Whatsapp, as well as Azure, Office 365, Skype and Gmail, are some of the most popular services that everyone uses today, both for private and business needs. All these solutions are based on Cloud technologies and allow users to access them from anywhere, at any time and from any device.

The Cloud solution offered by Polaris Network is based on a modern and superior NetApp HCI infrastructure and VMware virtualization platform that allows a multitenant environment, as well as renowned Cisco and HP network solutions.
The Cloud infrastructure is reliable, completely redundant and designed to have no single point of failure.

There are three Cloud Computing service models that Polaris Network offers in collaboration with partner companies:

1

Software as a Service, SaaS - Cloud software as a service allows you to use configuration and application service usage services that are located on the infrastructure we provide. This means that you receive the necessary hardware on the Cloud infrastructure as well as the applications you need from us through the service.

2

Platform as a Service, PaaS - Cloud platform as a service is a model in which you use existing applications you have purchased or developed yourself, and in our Cloud solution you use a platform that will support your application. In this case you have no control over the hardware, only over your software located in the Cloud.

3

Infrastructure as a Service, IaaS - Cloud infrastructure as a service is a model where you receive hardware and technology from us in terms of processing power, memory, disk space, operating systems and similar. There is no possibility of controlling the hardware itself, but you can manage operating systems, disk space, applications and choose some additional options such as a firewall.

The advantages of Cloud Computing are:

Cost optimization - By moving the IT system to the Cloud there is no longer a need to invest in IT infrastructure. By switching from CapEx to OpEx, costs become predictable and easier to control and manage. There are no more costs for equipment maintenance and renewal, and licensing costs for application services in the Cloud are more favorable.

Speed and flexibility - Resource scalability according to current business needs without significant investment in a short period is one of the main advantages of the Cloud.

Data availability and efficiency - The system with all its data is highly available at any time from any location and device that has internet access.

Data reliability and security – Guaranteed service quality with an SLA (Service Level Agreement) contract. Data security in the Cloud, in a serious TIER 3 Data Center that has the necessary redundant systems, protection systems and data replication, is at the highest level.

How to access Cloud implementation?

Before deciding to move your applications and data to the Cloud, it is necessary to analyze the current state, the possibilities of your existing infrastructure, the level of knowledge of your IT department, as well as future business challenges and needs. After that, applications and data that can be moved to the cloud are analyzed and evaluated, the choice of cloud model is made and creation of cloud architecture, migration plan, data backup, and only then the actual migration is done.

Throughout the entire process, the priority is to ensure business continuity.
